Well, after what feels like a long hiatus (plus a step forward and one-and-a-half back!), Terwillegar’s Quiet Garden is back on track. An anonymous donor (both a local community resident and a parishioner at HTR) donated some monies to get things going, and momentum has already started. An enthusiastic crew shared coffee and cinnamon buns (from our Messy Wednesday sponsor Prairie Mill Bakery) and chatted through next steps and stages this last Saturday (12th June). After that, we planted the first of four Colorado Blue Spruce which will act as a wind-break for the garden. Three remain to be planted, so we’ll meet on Thursday, 17th June at 7pm to plant the rest!
