Hope you’re all enjoying the weather and the subsequent storms that cool things off and water the grass (mine is actually green this year!). It was fabulous to have such a great turn-out last week – some returning after long absences, and other faces that grow brighter as we see them week-to-week! Hooray for MW!
We’re on the fourth Fruit of the Spirit tomorrow: ‘Patience’ which is always interesting to teach to young ones! Happily, Ginette has a brilliant idea for linking it to our craft… come and see what the Messyest-in-Chief is up to! And I bet if you ask her, you’ll get a bit of a report from her meeting with the founder of the ‘Messy’ movement who was in town over the weekend from Portsmouth, UK…?
Anyway, since it is Summer (and the weather is behaving like it) we thought we put together a variety of salads and slaws by guess and by golly. HTR will provide sour cream, mayo, and vinegar for making homemade slaw-dressing, and we’ll pull out some of the salad dressings in the ‘fridge, too. So, do you think you might bring things to chop, tear, shred, slice, julienne, and generally cut for our shared dins? We will stop by and get some of Owen from Prairie Mills’ bread so that there’s at least something for the fussy eaters to chomp on.
Brilliant! See you all Weds!
